Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original animated film Ultraman: Rising. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Scot Stafford (Lost Ollie, Trash Truck). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 7 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Ultraman: Rising is directed by Shannon Tindle, co-directed by John Aoshima and features the voices of Christopher Sean, Gedde Watanabe, Keone Young, Tamlyn Tomita and Julia Harriman. The Netflix Animation & Tsuburaya production is based on characters by Eiji Tsuburaya and tells the story of a star athlete who reluctantly returns home to take over his father’s duties as Ultraman, shielding Tokyo from giant monsters as he becomes a legendary hero. The film will premiere next Friday, June 14 on Netflix and will also open in select theaters on the same day.
