Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the Japanese drama The Silent Service. The album features the show’s original music composed by Yoshihiro Ike (Blood: The Last Vampire, Knights of the Zodiac, B: The Beginning, The Empire of Corpses, Vampire in the Garden). The Silent Service is directed by Kohei Yoshino and stars Takao Osawa, Hiroshi Tamaki, Aya Ueto, Tomoya Nakamura, Yusuke Santamaria and Aoi Nakamura. The series based on the manga franchise of the same title is set in Japan’s first nuclear submarine and depicts the unpredictable actions of its captain as he attempts to realize his ideal world. The project was first released in theaters as a feature film last fall in Japan and made its streaming debut as a TV series (with additional scenes) this past February on Prime Video.
