Kathryn Bostic (Clemency, Women of the Movement, Toni Morrison: The Pieces I AmRita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go for It, Praise Petey, Holiday Rush) is scoring the upcoming comedy drama The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat. The film is directed by Tina Mabry and stars Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Sanaa Lathan, Uzo Aduba, Julian McMahon, Mekhi Phifer, Vondie Curtis-Hall and Russell Hornsby. The movie based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Edward Kelsey Moore and follows a trio of best friends who see their bond put to the test as heartbreak and illness stir up the past and threaten to destroy their friendship. Mabry also co-wrote the screenplay with Cee Marcellus. Temple Hill Entertainment’s Marty Bowen & Wyck Godfrey (The Fault in Our Stars, The Maze Runnner) and Isaac Klausner (Love, Simon, First Man) are producing the Searchlight Pictures production. The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat will premiere on August 23, 2024 exclusively on Hulu.
