Wendy Melvoin & Lisa Coleman (Heroes, Crossing Jordan, Dangerous Minds, Nurse Jackie, Firefly Lane) are the new composers of the Prime Video original series Outer Range. The duo has composed the original music for the second season of the show created by Brian Watkins and starring Josh Brolin, Imogen Poots, Lili Taylor, Lewis Pullman, Tamara Podemski, Tom Pelphrey, Shaun Sipos, Noah Reid, Isabel Arraiza and Olive Abercrombie. The new season of the mystery drama follows Royal and his wife Cecelia as they struggle to keep their family together in the aftermath of their granddaughter’s sudden disappearance. Brolin (who also made his directorial debut on an episode of the show) is also executive producing the project with new showrunner Charles Murray (The Devil You Know), Plan B’s Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner & Jeremy Kleiner (12 Years a Slave, Moonlight), as well as  Heather Rae (Frozen River, Tallulah), Tony Krantz (Mulholland Drive, Felicity), Ernest McNealey and Jon Paré. Wendy & Lisa have previously collaborated with Murray on the Netflix limited series True Story. Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans have scored 2022’s first season. Season 2 of Outer Range will premiere next Thursday, May 16 on Prime Video.
