Composer Herdís Stefánsdóttir (Y: The Last Man, The Essex Serpent, The Sun Is Also a Star, We’re Here) is reteaming with director M. Night Shyamalan on the upcoming psychological thriller Trap. The film is written and directed by Shyalaman (The Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable) and stars Josh Hartnett and Saleka Shyamalan. The movie revolves around a father and teen daughter who attend a pop concert, where they realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event. Shyamalan is also producing the project with Marc Bienstock (Split, Glass) and Ashwin Rajan (Old, Servant). Stefánsdóttir has previously scored the director’s last feature, Knock at the Cabin. Trap will be released in theaters nationwide on August 9, 2024 by Warner Bros. Pitures.
