Composer Jerskin Fendrix is reteaming with director Yorgos Lanthimos on the upcoming sci-fi anthology movie Kinds of Kindness. The film is co-written (with Efthimis Filippou) and directed by Lanthimos (The Favourite, The Lobster) and stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Hunter Schafer and Mamoudou Athie. No plot details have been revealed yet. Lanthimos is also producing the project with Ed Guiney (Room, Disobedience), Andrew Lowe (Normal People, The Wonder) and Kasia Malipan. Fendrix has previously made his scoring debut on Lanthimos’ Poor Things, for which he received his first Academy Award nomination this year. Kinds of Kindness will be released in theaters on June 21, 2024 by Searchlight Pictures.
