WaterTower Music has announced the details of the soundtrack album for Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic Dune: Part Two. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Inception, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, Pirates of the Caribbean, Interstellar, The Last Samurai). The soundtrack will be released on February 23 in standard, Dolby Atmos, CD and vinyl formats. Two first tracks (A Time of Quiet Between the Storms & Harvester Attack) have already been released today. The label has previously released Zimmer’s Academy Award-winning score from the first movie in 2021. Dune: Part Two is based on Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel and stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, Souheila Yacoub, Charlotte Rampling,Stellan Skarsgård and Javier Bardem. The Legendary Pictures production will be released in theaters nationwide on March 1 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
