Platoon will release a soundtrack album for the Finnish period drama Stormskerry Maja. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lauri Porra (Rat King, Heavy Trip) and performed by the Lahti Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dalia Stasevska. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 2 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Mikael) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. Stormskerry Maja is written and directed by Tiina Lymi and stars Amanda Jansson, Linus Troedsson and Desmond Eastwood. The movie is based on a series of novels by Anni Blomqvist and chronicles the saga of the title character and her family as they embark on a journey to the desolate and remote island Stormskerry.
