Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film Good Grief. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Rob Simonsen (Ghostbusters: Afterlife, The Whale, The Way Back, The Adam Project, (500) Days of Summer, Foxcatcher, Nerve). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 5. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. Available separately as a digital single is the film’s cast’s rendition of William Bell’s Everyday Will Be Like a Holiday, which is available to stream/download now and can also be checked out below. Also listen to a track from Simonsen’s score after the jump. Good Grief is written and directed by Dan Levy (who has made his feature directorial debut on the project) and stars Levy himself, Ruth Negga, Himesh Patel, Luke Evans, Celia Imrie, Arnaud Valois, David Bradley, Emma Corrin and Kaitlyn Dever. The comedy drama revolves around an artist grieving the loss of his famous writer husband who takes his two best friends on a soul-searching trip to Paris that reveals some hard truths they each needed to face. The film opened in select theaters last weekend and will premiere tomorrow on Netflix.
