Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1989 comedy drama Dad written and directed by Gary David Goldberg and starring Jack Lemmon, Ted Danson, Ethan Hawke, Olympia Dukakis, Kathy Baker and Kevin Spacey. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the Amblin Entertainment production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner James Horner (Titanic, Braveheart, Avatar, A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13, Aliens, Field of Dreams, Glory), including previously unreleased music and alternate cues. The 2-CD set is limited to 2,000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. MCA Records has previously released the 1989 original soundtrack album. Dad is now available on VOD and DVD.
