Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French animated feature Mars Express. The album features the film’s original music composed by Fred Avril (The Lifeguard, Just the Three of Us, Pearl, I Am Not an Easy Man) & Philippe Monthaye. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Mars Express co-written and directed by Jérémie Périn is set in the near future and revolves around a private detective and her android partner who are hired by a wealthy businessman to track down a notorious hacker and descend deep into the underbelly of Mars’ capital city. The sci-fi noir movie, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, is being released in French theaters today and has been picked up by GKIDS for a domestic release in 2024.
