Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish/Dominican fantasy comedy The Tenderness (La Ternura). The album features the film’s original music composed by Fernando Velázquez (The ImpossibleThe Orphanage, A Monster Calls, Devil, HerculesCrimson Peak). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Apple Music/iTunes (or most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. The Tenderness is written and directed by Vicente Villanueva and stars Emma Suarez, Gonzalo de Castro, Fernando Guallar, Alexandra Jiménez, Anna Moliner and Carlos Cuevas. The movie tells centers on a feminist queen who travels across the seas with her two daughters in search of a place free of men and ends up landing on a “desert” island, where three men actually live hoping to never see a woman again. The comedy is opening in Spanish theaters this weekend.
