Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Bottoms. The album features the film’s original score composed by singer/songwriter Charli XCX (who makes her feature scoring debut) and Leo Birenberg (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Twisted Metal, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 25 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Listen to the title track below. Bottoms is co-written and directed by Emma Seligman and stars Rachel Sennott, Ayo Edebiri, Havana Rose Liu, Miles Fowler, Nicholas Galitzine and Marshawn Lynch. The movie follows two unpopular girls in their senior year who start a fight club to try to impress and hook up with cheerleaders. The comedy premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is being released in select theaters this weekend by MGM/Orion Pictures before expanding nationwide next Friday, September 1.
