Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original animated series Mech Cadets. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Max Aruj (Crawl, The Ice Road, iBoy, The Tank, Lansky). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 10 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Three first tracks have already been released as a digital single last week. Mech Cadets is based on the Mech Cadet Yu graphic novels created by Greg Pak & Takeshi Miyazawa and features the voices of Brandon Soo Hoo, Aparna Brielle, Victoria Grace, Daniel Dae Kim, Anairis Quiñones, Robbie Daymond, Josh Sundquist and Ming-Na Wen. The animated sci-fi action series tells the story of an underdog teen who joins a group of young Cadets who’ve been chosen to bond with Robo Mechs from space and defend Earth against alien invaders. The show will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Netflix.
