Decca Classics has released a soundtrack album for the Italian historical drama Kidnapped (Rapito). The album features the film’s original music composed by Fabio Massimo Capogrosso (Exterior Night). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Kidnapped is directed by Marco Bellocchio and stars Paolo Pierobon, Fausto Russo Alesi, Barbara Ronchi, Leonardo Maltese, Enea Sala, Filippo Timi and Fabrizio Gifuni. The movie tells the true story of a young Jewish boy who was abducted and forcibly raised Christian in 19th Century Italy. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and was released in Italian theaters this past May. Cohen Media Group has picked up domestic distribution rights. No release date has been announced yet.
