Brandon Roberts (UnderwaterMotherland: Fort Salem, Fear Street Part 2: 1978, Chaos WalkingThe Twilight Zone, On a Wing and a Prayer) has composed the original score for the upcoming Paramount+ original movie Pet Sematary: Bloodlines. The film marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Lindsey Anderson Beer (Sierra Burgess Is a Loser) and stars Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Jack Mulhern, Pam Grier, Natalie Alyn Lind, Henry Thomas, Isabella Star LaBlanc and David Duchovny.The 1969-set supernatural horror movie based on Stephen King’s short story is a prequel to 2019’s Pet Sematary remake (scored by Christopher Young) and follows a young Jud Crandall who discovers sinister secrets buried in Ludlow, Maine and is forced to confront a dark family history that will forever keep him connected to his hometown. Beer also co-wrote the screenplay with Jeff Buhler (Nightflyers, The Prodigy) who previously scripted the 2019 film. Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers, The Meg) and Mark Vahradian (RED, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts). Pet Sematary: Bloodlines will premiere on October 6, 2023 on Paramount+.
