Dubois Records will release a soundtrack album for the biographical drama Dalíland. The album features the film’s original music composed by Edmund Butt (Life on Mars, Bancroft, Finding Alice, Origin, Ashes to Ashes,Mistress, Intergalactic). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 9 and will be available to stream/download here. Dalíland is directed by Mary Harron and stars Ben Kingsley, Barbara Sukowa, Christopher Briney, Ezra Miller, Rupert Graves, Alexander Beyer, Andreja Pejic, Mark McKenna, Avital Lvova, Zachary Nachbar-Seckel and Suki Waterhouse. The movie is set in New York and Spain in 1974 and tells the story of the later years of the strange marriage between artist Salvador Dalí and his wife, Gala, as their seemingly unshakable bond begins to stress and fracture. The drama premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD this weekend by Magnolia Pictures.
