Platoon will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series City on Fire. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Jason Hill (Mindhunter, The Confession Killer, Extrapolations, Voir, Love, Death & Robots) . Also included are the original songs from the fictional band Ex Post Facto/Ex Nihilo (produced by Hill & Abe Seiferth), as well as tracks by Slow Pulp, Muzz and Been Stellar. Jonathan Leahy serves as the project’s music supervisor. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 12 and will be available to stream on most major digital music platforms, including Amazon. City on Fire is developed by Josh Schwartz & Stephanie Savage and stars Wyatt Oleff, Chase Sui Wonders, Jemima Kirke, Nico Tortorella, Xavier Clyde, Ashley Zukerman, Max Milner, Alexandra Doke, Kathleen Munroe, Omid Abtahi and John Cameron Mitchell. The 8-part drama is inspired by Garth Risk Hallberg’s novel of the same title and revolves around a crime against a student at NYU who is shot in Central Park on the Fourth of July, 2003. The series will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Apple TV+.
