White Tower Music has released a soundtrack album for the Greek TV series Maestro in Blue (Maestro). The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Kostas Christides (Benji, Love & Gelato, The Baytown Outlaws, Worlds Apart). Maestro in Blue is written and directed by Christoforos Papakaliatis and stars Papakaliatis himself, Haris Alexiou and Maria Kavoyianni. The drama revolves around a musician who goes to lead a festival on an island, where he begins an unexpected romance and finds himself entwined in other people’s problems. The series premiered in Greece last fall on Mega Channel and made its international debut last month on Netflix. A second season is in the works.
