Joe Wong (Russian Doll, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Master of None, The Midnight Gospel, Kenan) has been tapped to score the new AMC original series Lucky Hank. The pilot episode is scored by Wong & Dave Porter (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Disaster Artist) and Wong is composing the music for the other seven episodes of the first season of the show created by Aaron Zelman (Resurrection) & Paul Lieberstein (The Office, Space Force) and starring Bob Odenkirk, Mireille Enos, Diedrich Bader, Olivia Scott Welch, Suzanne Cryer, Sara Amini and Cedric Yarbrough. The dramedy is set at Railton College and revolves around the unlikely chairman of the English department in a badly underfunded college in a working-class American town whose life starts to unravel, while his wife begins to question the path she’s on and the choices she’s made. Zelman, Lieberstein & Odenkirk are also executive producing the AMC Studios & Sony Pictures ‘Television TriStar TV production with Mark Johnson (Breaking Bad, The Chronicles of Narnia), Richard Russo (The Ice Harvest, Keeping Mum), Naomi Odenkirk, Marc Provissiero (Nobody, PEN15), Jessica Held, as well as Peter Farrelly (Green Book, There’s Something About Mary) who also directed the first episode. Lucky Hank will premiere this Sunday, March 19 on AMC and will also be available to stream on AMC+.
