Composer Dara Taylor (The Tender Bar, The Invitation, Echo Boomers, The Noel Diary) is reteaming with director Josh Greenbaum on the upcoming comedy Strays. The film starring Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, Will Forte, Isla Fisher, Josh Gad, Randall Park, Brett Gelman, Harvey Guillén, Rob Riggle, Jamie Demetriou & Sofia Vergara follows a naive, relentlessly optimistic Border Terrier who is abandoned on the mean city streets by his lowlife owner and – together with a group of other strays –  hatches a plan to seek revenge on their owners. Dan Perrault (American Vandal, Players) wrote the screenplay. Erik Feig (Step Up, I Know What You Did Last Summer), Louis Leterrier (Now You See Me, Fast X), Phil Lord & Chris Miller (The LEGO Movie, 21/22 Jump Street) and Aditya Sood (The Martian, Let’s Be Cops) are producing the project. Taylor has previously co-scored Greenbaum’s last feature, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, with Christopher Lennertz. Strays will be released in theaters nationwide on June 9, 2023 by Universal Pictures.
