Tribeca Tunes has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 2014 Chinese fantasy adventure The Monkey King: Havoc in Heaven’s Place directed by Soi Cheang and starring Aaron Kwok, Chow Yun-Fat, Peter Ho, Kelly Chen and Joe Chen. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Drag Me to Hell, Entrapment, The Hurricane, Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Rose). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Intrada Records has previously released a CD version of Young’s score back in 2015 and also released the composer’s music from the 2016 sequel. The Monkey King is now available on VOD and Blu-ray/DVD.

IMHO it’s the same release as Intrada Special Collection Volume ISC 338 from 2015. The tracklisting is the same and the total length of the album is, too. Only tracks 1 and 2 have different lengths, but taken together, they’re the same.
