Disney+ announced today that Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, Creed, Tenet, Venom, Turning Red) has composed the original music for the new animated short Zen – Grogu and Dust Bunnies. The film is directed by Katsuya Kondo and produced by Lucasfilm and Japanese animation studio Studio Ghibli. Göransson has previously scored the first two seasons of Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian, which introduced the character of Grogu/Baby Yoda and also contributed music to The Book of Boba Fett. Zen – Grogu and Dust Bunnies will premiere this Saturday, November 12 on Disney+.
Göransson’s other recent projects include Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which is opening in theaters this weekend. He is also scoring Christopher Nolan’s upcoming historical drama Oppenheimer, which will be released on July 21, 2023.
