Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Impractical Jokers: The Movie, Die Hart) are composing the original score for the upcoming Peacock original series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin. The show is based on the Pitch Perfect feature franchise and stars Adam Devine, Flula Borg, Jameela Jamil, Lera Abova and Sarah Hyland. The comedy is set several years after the second Pitch Perfect movie and follows Devine’s character Bumper Allen as he moves to Germany to revive his music career when one of his songs becomes big in Berlin. Devine is also executive producing the Universal Television production with Elizabeth Banks & Max Handelman (Charlie’s Angels, Shrill) for Brownstone Productions, Paul Brooks (White Noise, The Fourth Kind) & Scott Neimeyer for Gold Circle Films, as well as Megan Amram. Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin will premiere on November 23, 2022 exclusively on Peacock.
Birenberg’s & Robinson’s recent projects also include the Roku Channel movie Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, which will premiere this Friday, November 4. They will also return to score the sixth season of Netflix’s Cobra Kai.
