Daniel James Chan (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Emergence) is the composer of the new NBC drama Quantum Leap. The show is based on the Don Bellisario-created late 80s/early 90s series of the same title and stars Raymond Lee, Caitlin Bassett, Ernie Hudson, Mason Alexander Park and Nanrisa Lee. The sci-fi drama takes place nearly 30 years after Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished and follows a team has been assembled to restart the project in hope of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it. Bellisario (NCIS, Magnum, P.I.) is executive producing the Universal Television production with showrunner Martin Gero (Blindspot, Kung Fu), as well as Dean Georgaris (The Meg, The Manchurian Candidate), Deborah Pratt, Chris Grismer (Freakish), Steven Lilien & Bryan Wynbrandt (La Brea, God Friended Me). Quantum Leap is premiering tonight and will air every Monday on NBC and will be also be available to stream on Peacock the following day.
