MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack EP for the French drama The Green Shutters (Les volets verts). The 4-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Frederic Vercheval (The Pact, Secret Name, The Sower, This Is Our Land). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here. Les volets verts is co-written and directed by Jean Becker and stars Gérard Depardieu, Fanny Ardant, Stéfi Celma and Benoît Poelvoorde. The movie is based on the book by Georges Simenon and centers on the twilight years of a sacred monster, Jules Maugin, an actor at the height of his glory. The drama is being released in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
