Morgan Kibby (aka White Sea) (Mothering Sunday, Girls on the Sun, Grand Army) and Daniel Wohl (Project Blue Book, Search Party, The Stand In, The Weekend Away) are the composers of the new AMC original anthology series Tales of the Walking Dead. The show consists of six one-hour standalone episodes focused on both new and established characters within the walker apocalypse. Kibby has scored the first, second and fifth episode (Evie/Joe, Blair/Gina & Amy/Dr. Everett) and Wohl has composed the music for the third, fourth and sixth episode (Dee, Davon, La Dona). Among the series’ cast members are Olivia Munn, Samantha Morton, Parker Posey, Terry Crews, Anthony Edwards, Poppy Liu, Jillian Bell, Embeth Davidtz, Loan Chabanol, Jessie T. Usher, Daniella Pineda and Danny Ramirez. Scott M. Gimple (The Walking Dead) is executive producing the AMC Studios production with showrunner Channing Powell and Michael Satrazemis (Fear the Walking Dead) who also directed three episodes. Haifaa al-Mansour, Deborah Kampmeier and Ron Underwood helmed the other episodes. Tales of the Walking Dead will premiere this Sunday, August 14 on AMC and will also be available to stream on AMC+.
Wohl’s other upcoming projects also include Sanaa Lathan’s directorial debut On the Come Up, which will premiere on September 23 on Paramount+.
