Timely Tunes has released a soundtrack album for the war drama Firebird. The album features the film’s original music composed by Krzysztof A. Janczak (The Whaler Bird, Even Mice Belong in Heaven, Miracle) with piano solo by Leszek Możdżer. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Firebird is co-written and directed by Peeter Rebane and stars Tom Prior, Oleg Zagorodnii, Diana Pozharskaya, Margus Prangel, Jake-Thomas Henderson and Nicholas Woodeson. The movie is set during the Cold War and follows a handsome, soulful young soldier who embarks on a clandestine sexual affair with a charismatic fighter pilot on an Air Force Base at the height of 1970’s Communist rule. The drama was released in select U.S. theaters this past April by Roadside Attractions and is now also available on VOD.
