Composer Cho Young-wuk is reteaming with director Park Chan-wook on the upcoming South Korean drama Decision to Leave. The film starring Tang Wei and Park Hae-il follows a police officer who leads an investigation that occurred in the mountains and meets and falls for the deceased’s wife mysterious wife. Chan-wuk also co-wrote the screenplay with Jeong Seo-kyeong and is producing the Moho Film production. Young-wuk has previously scored most of Chan-wook’s previous features, including Oldboy, Lady Vengeance, Thirst, The Handmaiden, as well as the limited series The Little Drummer Girl. Decision to Leave will premiere next month at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
