Norwegian electronic music artist and composer Biosphere (aka Geir Jenssen) has written the original music for the upcoming Netflix original film The Good Nurse. The movie is directed by Tobias Lindholm (A Hijacking, The Investigation) and stars Jessica Chastain, Eddie Redmayne, Nnamdi Asomugha, Noah Emmerich, Kim Dickens, Malik Yoba and Alix West Lefler. The thriller is based on true events and follows a nurse who suspects that her colleague is behind a series of mysterious patient deaths and risks her own life to uncover the truth. Krysty Wilson-Cairns (1917, Last Night in Soho) wrote the screenplay based on the book by Charles Graeber. Protozoa Pictures’ Scott Franklin (Jackie, White Boy Rick) and Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream) are producing the FilmNation Entertainment production. Jenssen has previously scored a number of documentaries and shorts, including Jean-Michel Roux’s Investigation Into the Invisible World and his music was also featured in Terence Malick’s Knight of Cups. The Good Nurse will premiere this year on Netflix.
