Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the adventure comedy The Lost City directed by Adam Nee & Aaron Nee and starring Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Brad Pitt, Patti Harrison, Oscar Nuñez and Bowen Yang. The film’s original score is composed by Pinar Toprak (Captain Marvel, Us Again, Stargirl, Krypton, The Angel, McMillions). Paramount Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as three original songs written by Cheche Alara today. La-La Land Records will release a CD version next week. Also opening wide is the survival drama Infinite Storm ddrected by Małgorzata Szumowska and starring Naomi Watts, Billy Howle, Denis O’Hare and Parker Sawyers. Lorne Balfe (Black Widow, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, His Dark Materials, The Wheel of Time) has composed the film’s original score. Opening in New York and Los Angeles this weekend before expanding nationwide in the coming weeks is the sci-fi adventure comedy Everything Everywhere All at Once directed by the Daniels (Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert (Swiss Army Man,) and starring Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, James Hong, Harry Shum Jr.,Jenny Slate and Jamie Lee Curtis. The film’s original music is composed by Son Lux (The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby). A24 Music will release a soundtrack album featuring both score and songs on April 8. Opening in select U.S. theaters following an awards-qualifying run last fall is the British period drama Mothering Sunday directed by Eva Husson and starring Odessa Young, Josh O’Connor, Emma D’Arcy, Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, Patsy Ferran, Glenda Jackson, Olivia Colman and Colin Firth. Morgan Kibby (aka White Sea) (Girls on the Sun, The Short History of the Long Road, Grand Army) has composed the film’s original music. Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last November. Opening in select theaters today before coming out on VOD on Tuesday, March 25 is the thriller So Cold the River written and directed by Paul Shoulberg and starring Bethany Joy Lenz, Andrew J. West, Katie Sarife, Michael J. Rogers, Kevin Cahoon, Kingston Vernes, Alysia Reiner and Deanna Dunagan. The film’s original music is composed by Ariel Marx (Shiva Baby, The Tale, Rebel Hearts, To Dust, Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer, The Devil Has a Name).
