UMe/Big Machine Records have announced a soundtrack album for the Showtime original documentary Sheryl. The album features Sheryl Crow’s biggest hits, including If It Makes You Happy, All I Wanna Do, Soak Up the Sun, My Favorite Mistake, as well as deep tracks and three newly recorded songs. Sheryl is directed by Amy Scott and follows the musically gifted superstar as she navigates an iconic yet arduous musical career battling sexism, ageism, depression, cancer, and the price of fame, before harnessing the power of her gift. The movie features never before seen archival footage spanning 20 years of touring,and interviews with close allies such as Keith Richards, Laura Dern, Emmylou Harris, Joe Walsh and Brandi Carlile. The documentary just premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and will premiere on May 6 on Showtime.
