22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness (Hopper et le hamster des ténèbres). The album features the film’s original music composed by the Belgian band Puggy (The Son of Bigfoot, Bigfoot Family). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on most major digital music platforms in overseas. Visit the French Amazon store to check out audio samples. A domestic release is expected later this year. Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness directed by Ben Stassen & Benjamin Mousquet is based on the Dark Horse comics title Chickenhare written and illustrated by Chris Grine. The nWave Animation production follows the adventures of a young hero born half chicken and half hare who is eager to fit in and feel loved in spite of his differences. The animated movie was released in French theaters last week.
