Michael Abels (Get Out, Us, Bad Education, See You Yesterday, Allen v Farrow, Fake Famous) has recently been scoring the upcoming dramatic thriller 892. The film is directed by Abi Damaris Corbin and stars John Boyega, Michael Kenneth Williams, Nicole Beharie, Connie Britton, Olivia Washington and Selenis Leyva. The movie revolves around a Marine war veteran who suffers from mental scars and faces cchallenges when he tries to reintegrate back into civilian life. Corbin also co-wrote the screenplay with Kwame Kwei-Armah. Ashley Levinson (Pieces of a Woman, Malcolm & Marie), Salman Al-Rashid, Sam Frohman, Kevin Turen (Arbitrage, Waves) and Mackenzie Fargo are producing the project. 892 will premiere next month at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.
