Nami Melumad (An American Pickle, Star Trek: Prodigy, Absentia, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond) has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix limited series The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window. The show is created by Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson & Larry Dorf (Nobodies) and stars Kristen Bell, Michael Ealy, Tom Riley, Samsara Yett, Mary Holland, Shelley Hennig, Cameron Britton, Christina Anthony and Benjamin Levy Aguilar. The satirical crime thriller follows a heartbroken woman who starts to see a light at the end of the tunnel when a handsome neighbor and his adorable daughter move in across the street. Bell is also executive producing the project with Gloria Sanchez’s Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum (Dead to Me, Hustlers, Booksmart) & Brittney Segal (The Shrink Next Door, Santa Clarita Diet). The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window will premiere on January 28, 2022 exclusively on Netflix.
Melumad also continues to score Paramount+’s animated series Star Trek: Prodigy, which has been renewed for a second season. She also recently scored Disney’s animated short Far from the Tree, which is currently playing in theaters in front of the studio’s feature Encanto.
