Decca Records has released the full soundtrack album for the musical drama Cyrano. The album features the songs from the movie written by Bryce Dessner & Aaron Dessner (of The National), with lyrics by Matt Berninger & Carin Besser and performed by cast members Haley Bennett, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Ben Mendelsohn & others, as well as selections of Bryce & Aaron’s originals score performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra. Also included is The National’s original song Someone Desperate, which has previously been released as a digital single. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here. A CD version is available to order here and a vinyl edition (to be released on January 14, 2022) is available for pre-order on Amazon. Cyrano directed by Joe Wright and written by Erica Schmidt, based on Schmidt’s 2018 stage musical of the same name – itself based on the 1897 Edmond Rostand play Cyrano de Bergerac.
