Loma Vista Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the indie comedy The Nowhere Inn. The album features the film’s original music composed by singer/songwriter St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) who also co-wrote the movie’s screenplay and serves a producer on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 17 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. St. Vincent’s title song is already available to stream/download now. Check out the official music video after the jump. The Nowhere Inn is directed by Bill Benz and stars Clark herself and Carrie Brownstein. The movie follows two creative forces banding together to make a documentary about St. Vincent’s music, touring life, and on-stage persona. The comedy premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in select theaters and on VOD on September 17 by IFC Films.
