Rolfe Kent (Sideways, About Schmidt, Wedding CrashersElection, Up in the Air, Downsizing) is scoring the upcoming romantic comedy He’s All That. The film is directed by Mark Waters (The Spiderwick Chronicles) and stars Addison Rae, Tanner Buchanan, Madison Pettis, Isabella Crovetti, Peyton Meyer, Annie Jacob, Myra Molloy, Rachael Leigh Cook and Matthew Lillard. The movie is based on the 1999 teen classic She’s All That (scored by Stewart Copeland) and follows an influencer who accepts a challenge to turn the school’s biggest loser into prom king. R. Lee Fleming Jr. (She’s All That, Get Over It) wrote the screenplay. Jennifer Gibgot (Step Up, Tangled), Andrew Panay (Wedding Crashers, Van Wilder) and Bill Block (Halloween, Bad Moms) are producing the Miramax production. Kent has previously scored most of Waters’ features, including Mean Girls, Freaky Friday, Just Like Heaven, The House of Yes, Vampire Academy, Mr. Popper’s Penguins, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and Magic Camp. He’s All That will premiere on August 27, 2021 on Netflix.
