Composer Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring, Insidious, The Curse of La Llorona, Dark Skies, The Unholy) is reuniting with director John R. Leonetti (Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, Wish Upon) on the upcoming horror movie Lullaby. The film starring Oona Chaplin & Ramon Rodriguez tells the story of a new mother who discovers a lullaby in an ancient book and soon regards the song as a blessing, but her world transforms into a nightmare when the lullaby brings forth the ancient demon Lilith. Alex Greenfield & Ben Powell (The Sand) wrote the screenplay. Broderick Johnson & Andrew Kosove (The Blind Side, Blade Runner 2049, Prisoners) are producing the Alcon Entertainment production with Envision Media Arts’ Lee Nelson (Celeste and Jesse Forever, Mr. Church) and David Tish (The Ice Road). Bishara has previously collaborated with Leonetti on the original 2014 Annabelle film. Lullaby is currently in post-production. No release date has been announced yet.
Bishara’s other recent projects include The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, which is currently playing in theaters and is also available to stream on HBO Max, as well as James Wan’s Malignant, which is set to be released in theaters and on HBO Max on September 10.
