MBK Entertainment and RCA Records have released the first song from the Netflix animated short-form series We the People. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon) is the original song Change performed by H.E.R. (who received her first Academy Award earlier this year for the song Fight for You from Judas and the Black Messiah) from the episode Active Citizenship. Listen to the track and also watch the full episode after the jump. We the People created by Chris Nee, executive produced by Barack & Michelle Obama and Kenya Barris combines music and animation to educate a new generation of young Americans about the basics of rights and citizenship. The full series will premiere on July 3 on Netflix.
