Premiering on Thursday, June 3, is the British TV series We Are Lady Parts created by Nida Manzoor and starring Anjana Vasan, Sarah Kameela Impey, Faith Omole, Juliette Motamed, Lucie Shorthouse, Zaqi Ismail and Aiysha Hart. Manzoor also co-wrote the show’s original songs with Shez Manzoor, Sanya Manzoor and Benjamin Fregin. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack EP featuring six songs from the show last week. Also premiering on Thursday is the second season of the Paramount+ original series Why Women Kill created by Marc Cherry and starring Allison Tolman, Nick Frost, Lana Parrilla, Jordane Christie, B.K. Cannon, Matthew Daddario and Veronica Falcón. Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island, Pain & Gain, Deepwater Horizon, Skyscraper, Desperate Housewives, Ender’s Game) has composed the original music of the new season. Premiering on Friday, June 4, is the Apple TV+ limited series Lisey’s Story created by Stephen King based on his 2006 novel of the same title and stars Julianne Moore, Clive Owen, Joan Allen, Dane DeHaan and Sung Kang. The show’s original music is composed by Clark (aka Chris Clark) (The Last Panthers, Daniel Isn’t Real, National Treasure: Kiri, Rellik). Also premiering on Friday is the Netflix original series Sweet Tooth created by Jim Mickle & Beth Schwartz based on by Jeff Lemire’s DC comic book series and starring Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie, Adeel Akhtar, Stefania LaVie Owen, Dania Ramirez, , Will Forte, Aliza Vellani,Neil Sandiland and James Brolin. Jeff Grace (In a Valley of Violence, Stake Land, The House of the Devil, Certain Women, In the Shadow of the Moon) is composing the show’s original music.
