Karibanna Content has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Free Color. The album features the film’s original music composed by Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra and Los Angeles Philharmonic music director Gustavo Dudamel (The Liberator), Nascuy Linares (Embrace of the Serpent, Luxor), Devendra Banhart (Joshy, Arkansas), Alvaro Paiva Bimbo and Sebastián Arvelo. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. Free Color is directed by Alberto Arvelo and centers on late Carlos Cruz-Diez, one of the most prominent and influential Kinetic-Optic artists of our time. The movie follows the maestro as he takes on the most daring project of his creative life in his twilight years. The documentary premiered at various film festivals last year and is currently awaiting a release date.
