Hype Films has released a soundtrack album for the war drama Persian Lessons. The album features the film’s original music composed by Evgueni & Sacha Galperine (The Undoing, Loveless, The Family, The Wizard of Lies, Radioactive). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music service to stream/download the soundtrack and to check out audio samples. Persian Lessons is directed by Vadim Perelman (House of Sand and Fog) and stars Nahuel Perez Biscayart, Lars Eidinger and Jonas Nay. The movie is set in Occupied France in 1942 and tells the story of a Belgian Jew who claims to be Persian when he is rounded up and about to face the firing squad and desperately tries to save himself by agreeing to teach a language he does not know to a Nazi transit camp commandant. The drama premiered at last year’s Berlin Film Festival and has been released in several foreign markets over the last couple of months. Cohen Media Group has picked up domestic distribution rights for a U.S. release later this year.
