Austin Wintory is scoring the upcoming British prison drama Ire. The film marks the directorial debut of actor Ross McCall and stars Craig Fairbrass, Stephen Odubola, Jason Flemyng, Ulrich Thomsen, Zoe Tapper and Rosie Sheehy. The movie follows an institutionalized criminal incarcerated for murdering his wife whose routine life is disrupted when his estranged daughter asks to meet him and a 19 year old serving his first sentence in a maximum security prison is placed inside as his cell mate. McCall also wrote the screenplay. Bart Ruspoli (Villain, Genesis) is producing the project for Ascendant Films, alonsgide Hester Ruoff for Burton Fox Films, and Stefan D’Bart for Bromantics. Ire is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
