Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Pollock, Rome, Carnivale, The Biggest Little Farm, Appaloosa) has been tapped to score the new CW drama Walker. The show is created by Anna Fricke (Being Human, Valor) based on the 90s hit CBS series Walker, Texas Ranger and stars Jared Padalecki, Lindsey Morgan, Keegan Allen, Kale Culley, Violet Brinson, Molly Hagen, Mitch Pileggi, Coby Bell and Jeff Pierr. The series revolves around a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years, only to discover there’s harder work to be done at home. Fricke and Padalecki are also executive producing the CBS Television Studios production with Dan Lin (It, The Lego Movie, Sherlock Holmes) and Lindsay Liberatore. Walker will premiere on January 21, 2021 and will air every Thursday night on The CW.
Beal’s other upcoming projects include Tate Taylor’s Breaking News in Yuba County, which will be released in theaters and on VOD on February 12 (click here to watch the just-released trailer), as well as Oliver Stone’s docu-series JFK: Destiny Betrayed,
