Jeff Richmond is the composer of the new NBC comedy Mr. Mayor. The show is created by Tina Fey & Robert Carlock and stars Ted Danson, Holly Hunter, Vella Lovell, Kyla Kenedy, Mike Cabellon and Bobby Moynihan. The series follows a retired businessman who runs for mayor of Los Angeles to prove he’s “still got it” and, once he wins, has to figure out what he stands for, gain the respect of his biggest critic and connect with his teenage daughter. Richmond (Baby Mama) also serves as an executive producer on the Universal Television production, alongside Carlock, Fey and David Miner (Parks and Recreation, The Good Place). He has previously scored the Fey- & Carlock-created and produced shows 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Mr. Mayor is premiering tonight and will air every Thursday night on NBC.
