Nicolas Errèra (Shaolin, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, Hidden Man, Adoring Mountain Cry) has recently recorded his score for the upcoming Hong Kong thriller Raging Fire (Nou fo). The film is written and directed by Benny Chan (New Police Story, Call of Heroes, Invisible Target) and stars Donnie Yen, Nicholas Tse, Qin Lan, Ray Lui, Patrick Tam and Kenny Wong. The movie follows a cop too honest for his own good whose past comes back to haunt him when his sting operation is attacked by a mysterious group of criminals, led his former protégé. Chan who passed away this past summer also serves as a producer on the project. Errèra has previously score the director’s features The White Storm, Xin Shao Lin si and Connected. Raging Fire is set to be released in Chinese and Hong Kong theaters in 2021.
Errèra’s other upcoming projects also include Yu Li’s Chinese drama Tiger Robbers (Yang Guang Bu Shi Jie Fei), which will also open in Chinese theaters next year.
