Composer Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Deadpool, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Alita: Battle Angel, Divergent, Black Mass) is set to reteam with director George Miller (Mad Max, Babe, Happy Feet) on the upcoming romantic fantasy drama Three Thousand Years of Longing. The film stars Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba. No plot details have been announced yet. Doug Mitchell (Dead Calm, Lorenzo’s Oil) is producing the project. Holkenborg has previously collaborated with Miller on the director’s last feature, Mad Max: Fury Road. Three Thousand Years of Longing has just started principal photography in Australia and will be distributed by MGM’s United Artists Releasing. (Deadline)
Holkenborg’s other upcoming projects also include Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs. Kong, as well as Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead and Justice League: The Snyder Cut, all of which will premiere in 2021.
