Hasbro has released the first-ever score album for the animated series G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero developed by Ron Friedman and starring Michael Bell, Arthur Burghardt, Corey Burton, William Callaway, Brian Cummings, Ed Gilbert and Chris Latta. The album features selections of the score from the first 5-part mini-series, which premiered in 1983, and Season 1 of the animated series, which made its debut in 1985, including over 40 minutes of unreleased music from the original composers Robert J. Walsh (Revenge of the Ninjas, My Little Pony: The Movie) and Johnny Douglas (The Transformers, The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man). Also included is an instrumental version of the show’s iconic theme song. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here and other digital music stores. A vinyl edition is available to order on Amazon.
