Evgueni Galperine & Sacha Galperine (Loveless, The Family, Radioactive, The Wizard of Lies, Nine Lives) are the composers of the new HBO limited series The Undoing. The show is created by David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, The Practice, Ally McBeal) based on Jean Hanff Korelitz’s novel You Should Have Known and stars Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant, Edgar Ramirez, Noah Jupe, Lily Rabe, Noma Dumezweni, Matilda De Angelis, Ismael Cruz Córdova and Donald Sutherland. The 6-part drama is directed by Susanne Bier (The Night Manager, Bird Box) and revolves around a successful therapist in New York whose life begins to unravel on the eve of publishing her first book.Kelley & Bier are also executive producing the project with Kidman & Per Saari (Rabbit Hole, The Family Fang) for Blossom Films, Bruna Papandrea (Wild, Warm Bodies) for Made Up Stories, as well as Stephen Garrett (Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, Life on Mars) and Celia Costas (Taking Woodstock). Victor Reyes was originally set to score the series. The Undoing will premiere this coming Sunday, October 25 on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max. Evgueni & Sacha Galperine also have the French thriller A Night Doctor (Un médecin de nuit) and the drama Gagarine directed by Fanny Liatard & Jérémy Trouilh coming up. Both movies are set to be released in French theaters later this fall.
